As a NDIS service provider, Brave Care has been supporting NDIS participants to complete their education and find meaningful and productive employment for years.
If you are an NDIS participant, our support workers will always be there assisting you to complete your education, find a suitable employment and sustain it. We will also assist you to pursue higher education. In other words, if you are looking forward to gaining employment or pursuing further education under your NDIS plan, we will provide you with personalised support to achieve it.
We offer School Leaver Employment Support tailored just for you
Our support workers are trained to offer School Leaver Employment Support (SLES) that is designed to provide one-on-one as well as group support to help you graduate from your school and prepare & look for a job.
We understand that employment support is bound to differ from one participant to another. Thus, our support workers would support you to develop the following skills under the SLES plan:
Fund handling skills
Time Management skills
Communication Skills
Job Readiness Skills
Travel & Transportation skills
Personal Development Skills
We assist you in finding and retaining your job
Our support workers would provide you tailored. ‘finding and retaining a job’ assistance, depending on your personalised support needs. It comes in two forms – one-to-one as well as group support, if you are looking forward to preparing for and finding a job. They will work in close coordination with you to provide additional needs, to meet as well as exceed employer obligations.
We provide assistance with accessing and maintaining education or employment
We help you find and grab the educational and career possibilities, as well as maintain a fulfilling career or course of study. We help you develop the skills necessary to secure work or make the move from school to a higher education, in accordance with your NDIS plan.
